Abstract In higher vocational education, the improvement of the mechanism for building professional groups is crucial for enhancing the quality of education and adapting to the needs of industrial development. Based on the current problems in the construction of professional groups in vocational colleges, this article deeply explores strategies for building forward-looking and dynamic professional groups, promoting interdisciplinary integration, deepening industry education integration, and establishing a scientific and comprehensive quality assurance system, aiming to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the construction of professional groups in vocational colleges.
