Abstract: UV-Vis spectrophotometry can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances because of their different absorbability to UV-Vis light in different wavelengths. Food is a kind of necessary substance for human life, and it is of great significance for the analysis of its composition and food safety. UV-Vis spectrophotometry is widely used in food detection and safety analysis because of its simple operation, high sensitivity and wide range of application.
