Research Progress in the Application of Detection Methods for Food Preservatives

Abstract: As a commonly used food additive in food, food preservatives are used more and more widely in the food industry. To strengthen its inspection and testing is the necessary basis to ensure food safety. In this paper, the definition and classification of food preservatives are summarized, and the main methods and techniques applied to food preservatives testing are reviewed, in order to provide reference for food preservatives testing.
