Application Analysis of the New Generation Weather Radar in Meteorological Services

Abstract On the basis of expounding the composition and working principle of the new generation weather radar and the display of radar products based on GIS， this paper describes the observation mode of the new generation weather radar， and analyzes the application of weather radar in four typical examples， namely， short-time heavy precipitation forecasting service， thunderstorm and gale forecasting service， low-temperature early warning service， and Cloud seeding， in combination with the weather radar weather service practice in Ningde City， Finally， several precautions for using the new generation weather radar are proposed for reference.

摘要 在闡明新一代天氣雷達(dá)組成、工作原理、基于GIS的雷達(dá)產(chǎn)品顯示的基礎(chǔ)上，描述了新一代天氣雷達(dá)的觀測(cè)模式，并且結(jié)合寧德市天氣雷達(dá)氣象服務(wù)實(shí)踐，就短時(shí)強(qiáng)降水預(yù)報(bào)服務(wù)、雷雨大風(fēng)預(yù)報(bào)服務(wù)、低溫預(yù)警服務(wù)、人工降雨4個(gè)典型案例分析了天氣雷達(dá)的應(yīng)用，并提出了使用新一代天氣雷達(dá)的注意事項(xiàng)，以供參考。（剩余5978字）
