High-efficient Water-saving Irrigation Technology in Mountainous Areas

Abstract In mountainous areas, due to factors such as complex terrain and scarce water resources, conventional agricultural irrigation can lead to problems such as water waste, soil erosion, and increased energy consumption. So, in the process of irrigation, it is necessary to find more scientific technical strategies to solve this problem. High efficiency water-saving irrigation technology in mountainous areas can maximize irrigation efficiency, optimize agricultural production structure, and achieved sustainable development of agriculture under limited water resources. In the practical stage, through the use of modern information technology, automatic control systems, and precise sensors, efficient water-saving irrigation technology in mountainous areas had achieved precise monitoring and regulation of the irrigation process of farmland, maximizing the satisfaction of crop growth needs. Several high-efficiency water-saving irrigation techniques in mountainous areas were introduced for our reference.
