儒家文化對(duì)醫(yī)助自殺的倫理批判
〔摘要〕從儒家立場(chǎng)看,不同角色對(duì)醫(yī)助自殺有差異化的倫理考量。從患者的角度來(lái)看,儒家不支持自殺作為一種權(quán)利;從家屬的角度來(lái)看,儒家不認(rèn)為醫(yī)助自殺更有利于維護(hù)患者尊嚴(yán);從醫(yī)生的角度來(lái)看,支持醫(yī)助自殺不僅有悖于醫(yī)學(xué)的初衷,而且可能會(huì)導(dǎo)致嚴(yán)重的社會(huì)后果??傊寮以卺t(yī)助自殺上總體傾向于否定態(tài)度。

Ethical criticism of Confucian culture on physician-assisted suicide

Abstract: From the Confucian perspective, different roles have different ethical considerations for physician-assisted suicide (PAS). From the perspective of patients, Confucianism does not support suicide as a right. For family members, Confucianism does not believe that PAS is more conducive to maintaining the dignity of patients. From a doctor’s perspective, supporting PAS not only goes against the original intention of medicine, but may also lead to serious social consequences. In conclusion, Confucianism generally tends to adopt a negative attitude towards PAS.
