Abstract: This paper focuses on the application of artificial intelligence technology in optimizing the operational efficiency of public transportation systems. It explores how to utilize big data analysis, intelligent algorithms, and other means to achieve accurate passenger flow prediction, optimize route planning, and vehicle scheduling. By analyzing application strategies of artificial intelligence technology in intelligent transportation management and other aspects, the paper aims to provide new insights for enhancing the operational efficiency of public transportation.
