Based on embroidery paintings handed down from the late Ming Dynasty to the mid-Qing Dynasty, literati postscripts, History of Silent Poetry, Embroidery Album and other literatures of the same period, this article draws on the research achievements of contemporary scholars, and expounds onartistic pursuit and needling characteristics of Gu Embroidery in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

顧繡(Gu-family embroidery)誕生于明中期的上海,原指松江府上??h顧名世家族女眷以書(shū)畫(huà)為粉本創(chuàng)制的繡畫(huà);創(chuàng)始期顧繡工、韻兼全,代表人物“顧姬”及其事跡入列同代紀(jì)傳體畫(huà)史《無(wú)聲詩(shī)史》,繡畫(huà)作品被同時(shí)期學(xué)界視為繪畫(huà)的特殊表現(xiàn)形式之一。(剩余4869字)
