Abstract: This paper discusses in detail the process of simplifying scaffolding on the back of main deck of shuttle tanker,and introduces the necessity, feasibility and operability of simplifying scaffolding on the back of main deck, describes in detail the process of promoting this technology and the matters that should be paid attention to in the process. Valuable experience and good economic benefits have been obtained, which provides reference for the construction of similar types of ships.
