《往生集》中“香”的雙重意蘊(yùn)

摘要：在佛典中有許多對(duì)香的描寫，它既是人感官感知的對(duì)象，也是一種精神上的體驗(yàn)。《往生集》中輯錄的事件中大量出現(xiàn)人們焚香和“異香”彌漫的描述，不僅展示了當(dāng)時(shí)社會(huì)中的佛教香俗與世俗文化的互動(dòng)，更是將香塑造成人們解脫的先兆體檢和凈土修行的功德體量。

The Dual Meaning of “Incense” in Wangshengji

Abstract： There are many descriptions of incense in Buddhist scriptures， which is both an object of human sensory perception and a spiritual experience. In the events recorded in Wangshengji， there are a large number of descriptions of people burning incense and the diffusion of “exotic incense”， which not only show the interaction between Buddhist incense custom and secular culture in the society at that time， but also shape incense into a precursor physical examination of people’s moksha and a volume of merits for the Pure Land practice.
