Du Jinsheng’s Resplendent Jiangnan
Born in the picturesque Maojiabu, Du Jinsheng has been nurtured by the beauty of the lakes and mountains since a young age. He has a deep love for art, excels in landscape painting, and is particularly fond of photography. Through diligent study and repeated experimentation, he first captures the scenic photographs with the camera, then enlarges them according to a certain proportion, and finally makes them into pattern plates, leading to the creation of China’s first black and white woven silk landscape picture Nine Streams and Eighteen Gullies, adding a significant stroke to the history of modern silk technology in China.
