Radiant Elegance of Cao’e River in Wu De’s Lens

Finding a bag of long-sought old photographic negatives at home is the most exhilarating moment for photographer Wu De. Whenever this happens， he would close the door， gently pull out a roll of film， and carefully examine it against the light. Each frame brings back a flood of old memories： the past scenery along Cao’e River， the laughter and chatter of the fellow villagers， the aroma of preserved mustard greens and meat in the canteen ... His senses of sight， hearing， and smell are instantly awakened， allowing him to relive the stories of bygone eras within the world of images.
