Abstract Objective：To search for relevant evidence on oral management of patients undergoing oral tracheal intubation both domestically and internationally，and to provide evidence-based basis for clinical oral management.Methods：Evidence on oral management of patients undergoing oral tracheal intubation，including clinical decision-making，guidelines，expert consensus，evidence summary，and systematic evaluation，was retrieved from domestic and foreign guidelines websites，clinical decision databases，relevant associations，as well as PubMed，EMbase，Web of Science，CINAHL，the Cochrane Library，CNKI，CBM，WanFang Database，and VIP.The search period was from the establishment of the database to August 2022.Two evidence-based trained researchers independently conducted literature quality evaluation and evidence grading.Results：A total of 13 articles were included，including 4 guidelines，7 systematic evaluations，and 2 expert consensus articles.The best evidence summarized includes 35 recommended opinions，which are summarized into 7 aspects：team building，plan development，oral assessment，cleaning tools，nursing solutions，practical processes，and precautions.Conclusion：This summary of evidence can provide evidence-based basis for oral management of patients undergoing oral tracheal intubation.Medical staff can choose feasible and adaptable evidence based on clinical situations to maintain good oral health for patients undergoing oral tracheal intubation.
