The gable-on-hip roof (Xieshan) is the main roof style that has been continuously optimized, improved, and finalized in the process of traditional Chinese architecture from closed to open. It reflects the internal logic and historical logic of highly unified space and roof, structure and form. It is the basic roof type that connects the past and the future in traditional architecture, and also lays the foundation for the continued diversification of roof styles in future buildings. The design of gable-on-hip roof (Xieshan) during the Song Dynasty underwent some new breakthroughs, and its combination became more diverse and widely distributed. This article takes Zhang Zeduan's "Qingming Shanghe Tu" as an example, and combines existing examples to explore the reasons for the popularity of gable-on-hip roof (Xieshan) in the Northern Song Dynasty.
歇山屋頂是中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)建筑從封閉到開(kāi)敞進(jìn)程中,不斷優(yōu)化、改進(jìn)到定型,凝結(jié)出的主要屋頂式樣,體現(xiàn)著空間與屋頂、結(jié)構(gòu)與形式高度統(tǒng)一的內(nèi)在邏輯與歷史邏輯,是傳統(tǒng)建筑中承上啟下的基本屋頂類(lèi)型,也為之后建筑屋頂式樣的繼續(xù)多樣化奠定了基礎(chǔ)。(剩余4493字)
