This article is aimed to explore the relevance among relative simplification theory, Chinese ceramic sculpture art and Taoist philosophy by reviewing the history of Chinese ceramic sculpture. It is expected to offer some ideas for creation of Chinese contemporary and future ceramic sculpture artworks.
