Huzhou Mulberry Fish Pond： An Agricultural Heritage along the Poetry Road Cultural Belt

Under the influence of the canal culture， Nanxun has formed a beautiful ecological agricultural landscape of mulberry fish ponds， where sericulture and fish farming complement each other， and mulberry fields and ponds are interconnected. This has also led to a rich and diverse culture of sericulture and fish. Deqing， on the other hand， has implemented a freshwater pearl polyculture system centering on fish-clam mixed farming， an agricultural heritage that evolved from the mulberry fish pond culture and is more in line with the actual situation of development of Deqing cultural.
