AbstractObjective：Toexploretheeffectofhumortherapyontheemotionalcontrolofcancerpatientsandprovideareferenceforclinicalauxiliarytreatmentandnursing.Methods：LiteraturerelatedtotheeffectofhumortherapyonemotionalcontrolincancerpatientswasretrievedfromVIP，WanFangDatabase，CNKI，theCochraneLibrary，PubMed，WebofScience，andEBSCO，fromtheestablishmentofdatabasedtoMarch31，2023.Randomizedandquasirandomizedcontrolledtrialswereselectedandthereferencesweretracked.Theresearchersindependentlyincludedtheliteraturebytheinclusionandexclusioncriteria.Afterevaluatingtheriskofbiasintheincludedstudies，theyextractedvaliddataandusedRevMan5.3softwaretoperformaMetaanalysis.Datathatcouldnotbecombinedweresubjectedtodescriptiveanalysis.Results：Atotalof8randomizedcontrolledtrialsinvolving369patientswereincluded.Comparedwithconventionaltreatment/careorblankcontrol，thedepressionscore（SMD=-0.81，95%CI-1.06-0.56，Z=6.42，P<0.00001），stressscore（SMD=-0.86，95%CI-1.38-0.33，Z=3.21，P=0.001），andanxietyscore（SMD=-0.78，95%CI-1.40-0.16，Z=2.46，P=0.01）werestatisticallysignificantdifferent.Qualityoflifescore（SMD=0.34，95%CI-0.471.15，Z=0.81，P=0.42）anddifferenttreatment/nursingmethodshadnostatisticallysignificantdifference.Conclusions：Existingevidenceshowsthathumortherapycouldeffectivelyrelievedepressionandanxietyincancerpatients，reducepsychologicalstress，andplayanimportantroleinthetreatment/careofcancerpatients′mentalillness.
