1 At the age of 4， little Saeed Rashed AlMheiri from AbuDhabi， UAE， is the world's youngest person to publish abook. His record was verified on 9 March 2023， after hesold over 1，000 copies of his children's book The El?ephant Saeed and the Bear.

2 But Saeed is not the only record breaker in the family.In fact， he was inspired to write his book by his oldersister AlDhabi， who used to hold the record title for the world's youngest person to publisha bilingual （雙語的） book （female） . Less than one year later， she broke the recordfor the youngest person to publish a bilingual book series （female） at the age of 8.

3 Saeed said cheerfully，“I love my sister so much and I enjoy playing with her all thetime. We read， write， draw and do so many activities together. I wrote my book as I feltthat I could have my own book too.”

4 Saeed then went on to explain the plot of his book.“It is about the elephant Saeed and apolar bear. The elephant had a picnic and he saw a polar bear. He thought the bear was going to eat him but， in the end， the elephant showed kindness and said‘Lets have apicnic together！’. Then they became friends and showed kindness to each other.”

5 With his mother and his sister's guidance， Saeed learned how to write and soon startedcoming up with original stories. He loved describing the characters of his book， as wellas drawing them.“The drawing was tricky and the polar bear looked scary at first， butit's always fun to draw，”he said.
